Engel Trio (German for angel trio) is named after a street in a suburb of Mainz, where they rehearse at pianist Manuel Seng’s living room. There they explore music in a playful fashion, bridging styles most commonly referred to as jazz (once fresh coffee is on the table for punctual drummer Max Hering and slightly belated double bass player Grégoire Pignède). Recorded in that house, and released with live videos, the young trio present their first debut EP!
